It's that time of the week, when I take you along the Harwich Broker's Open House Tour. It's an insider's look at the latest properties to hit the market. We have four homes on the tour today and coincidentally, they are all in the $300,000 to $400,000 range. Let's begin at 10 Robert Lane in West Harwich. This home was built in 1963 but it doesn't look it. Owners punched the ceiling up to the roof and added enlarged skylights to let the outside in. With no light pollution on the Cape I bet you can see stars through the skylights at night too. 10 Robert Lane has 1,640 square feet of living space and is a short drive to the beaches of Nantucket Sound. It is offered at $340,000. Onto 18 Patricia Lane in Harwich. This one is cute! If ever you travelled with a high school buddy to her aunt's place on the Cape, this is it. They put it in a 1970's time capsule and closed the bottle. ![]() This is one of my favorite features of the cottage. It's a closet about 18 inches wide. It symbolizes what the Cape used to be. You didn't need big closets because you didn't bring many clothes. You brought bathing suits, and those were hung outside. This adorable cottage is ten houses to the beach. It is just 660 square feet. Think of it. Today's master bedroom suites are larger than this entire house. Back in the day, entire families spent summers here without TV or internet. All they had after a full day outdoors was books, jigsaw puzzles, monopoly and each other. I love Cape homes like this. You can have it for $399,900. Next let's check out 288 Main Street in North Harwich. ![]() This property in interior Cape Cod is close to horse country. It was constructed in 1997, has an open floor plan and 1,512 square feet of living space. It is offered for $339,000. ![]() Sorry about the strong back light here. But how about those windows! And the woods out back. You have complete privacy here. ![]() OK, round the corner at the table and now you're in the spacious kitchen. It's really quite open and convivial. That's a bedroom to the left off the kitchen. There are two more huge bedrooms upstairs. How did you like 288 Main Street, North Harwich? If you like privacy, a wooded setting and you wish to be away from it all, it's got your name on it. One more to see. Let's check out 65 Round cove in East Harwich. ![]() Just a couple of miles from bustling East Harwich lies this home on a dirt country road. You are really on your own. No traffic, and woods all around. The Hawksnest Conservation Area and pond is at the end of the road. 65 Round Cover Road offers 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It is listed at $369,000.
There you have it. Four properties in the "3s". Which is your favorite?
