Who doesn't like butterflies? They have beautiful markings and they float so slowly through the air, they rarely startle us. Best yet, they don't bite or sting. Some people believe butterflies symbolize departed loved ones hovering around and sending us a sign they are near us. There is a place just over the bridges where you can see native southeastern Massachusetts butterlies in all stages of development. It's the Butterfly House of Bournedale. Bring some money because you can purchase gifts there too. Check out this video, thanks to our friends at Capecast at the Cape Cod Times.
