The Bay State gained 47,000 new residents in 2013 over 2012, according to new Census Bureau figures. For the third year in a row, Massachusetts' population growth lead the northeast. With 6.7 million inhabitants, Massachusetts is the 14th most populous state in the U.S. All of this is no surprise to anyone who has tried to negotiate the traffic on our roads.
